This Privacy Policy describes how Misty Lorette ("Misty Lorette", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise handles information in connection with our internal business application and related tools used for advertising research, analysis, reporting, and workflow automation, including integrations with advertising platforms, APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, and AI tools.

This application is intended primarily for internal business use. It is not offered as a public consumer application. Even so, information handled through the application may include platform account data, technical metadata, research outputs, and other information needed to operate the service securely and effectively.

1. Information We Process

Depending on how the application is used, the application may process the following categories of information:

• Publicly available advertising library information and related advertising content.
• Authorized API data retrieved from platforms you connect to the application.
• Account identifiers, page identifiers, business account identifiers, app-scoped user identifiers, and similar platform identifiers.
• Access tokens, authentication credentials, and authorization-related information needed to enable approved platform access.
• Request metadata, server logs, device or browser information, IP address information, timestamps, error logs, and other technical diagnostics used for security, stability, and troubleshooting.
• Prompts, instructions, inputs, and analysis outputs submitted through connected AI tools or MCP workflows where relevant to requested research or reporting tasks.
• Communications sent to us, including support, privacy, and deletion requests.

We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from consumers through this application unless it is voluntarily provided, technically necessary to operate the application, or received through authorized platform integrations.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate and maintain authorized access to connected platforms and services.
• Retrieve advertising-related information, public ad-library data, and related research inputs.

3. Legal and Platform Basis

Where applicable, information is processed because it is necessary to operate the application, provide requested functionality, maintain security, comply with platform rules, and pursue legitimate business purposes related to advertising research and workflow automation.

Use of connected third-party platforms remains subject to those platforms' own terms, privacy policies, and developer rules. This Privacy Policy applies only to Misty Lorette's handling of information in connection with this application.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information handled through this application.

Information may be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:

• To hosting, cloud, infrastructure, security, analytics, automation, or email service providers that help operate the application.
• To AI service providers, MCP-connected tools, or other processors where necessary to generate requested analysis or workflow outputs.
• To platform providers when required for authentication, authorization, API access, app administration, or compliance.
• Where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order, or other valid legal process.
• Where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, systems, users, or the business from fraud, abuse, or technical threats.

Third-party providers may process information under their own terms and policies. Anyone using connected services such as Meta, Claude, Perplexity, or other AI or infrastructure tools should review the relevant third-party policies separately.

5. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operational, research, security, debugging, recordkeeping, and compliance purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, whether the information is needed to investigate incidents, whether deletion has been requested, and whether continued retention is legally required or reasonably necessary to defend legal claims or maintain service integrity.

Where information is no longer needed, reasonable steps are taken to delete, anonymize, or securely de-identify it, subject to technical and legal constraints.

6. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information handled through the application. These measures may include access controls, credential protection, secure transport methods, environment restrictions, logging controls, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the application.

No method of storage, transmission, or processing is completely secure. Accordingly, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Misty Lorette operates from Australia. Depending on the services used to run the application, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside Australia, including by third-party infrastructure or service providers.

Where cross-border handling occurs, reasonable steps are taken to work with service providers and platforms appropriate to the intended business and technical purpose.

8. User Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law and technical limitations, individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with this application, or may inquire about how information is handled.

If a request concerns data received through a connected third-party platform, the requester may also need to use that platform's own account controls, app settings, or privacy tools, because some information may be controlled by the platform rather than by Misty Lorette directly.

9. User Data Deletion

If a user wants data associated with this application deleted, a request may be submitted by emailing info@mistylorette.com.au with enough detail to identify the relevant records, such as the name, email address, and connected platform, page, business account, or app details associated with the request.

Upon receiving a valid request, reasonable efforts will be made to review the request and delete applicable stored data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

Where relevant, users may also remove the application from their Meta account settings or other connected platform settings to stop future data sharing from that platform to the application.

10. Children's Privacy

This application is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design this application for use by children or intentionally collect personal information from children through it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the application, integrations, legal requirements, platform requirements, or business practices. When updates are made, the revised version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
